Bulldog Breeding
Irresponsible bulldog breeding can result in dogs ending up in rescue, as they are often prone to training and health problems.
These dogs have been around for many centuries, but they have changed a lot over the last one. They used to be very tough and aggressive, because these qualities were required for participation in one of the toughest contests that was bull baiting. Nowadays, there are three varieties of these dogs: English, French and American. English and French are raised as house pets, and American dogs are more like their fathers in appearance. They are more active and agile, and they are widely used as hunting dogs.

Bulldog Breeding -
rescue, training
Purebred dogs that come from certified breeding stock and have a good ancestry are much more expensive than pet quality dogs. When choosing a purebred puppy, don’t be impulsive, but act slowly. Pay serious attention to health of the puppy and its parents. Visit the kennel yourself and evaluate the conditions in which the litter is kept. First few weeks of life are very important for the future progress of the pup. In good kennels, puppies are kept indoors in a stress-free atmosphere. They are socialized early and usually have no problems with housebreaking. Puppies should be neither timid nor aggressive.
