This breed may seem to be very easy to care for, but it’s not really so. Though the breed does not need grooming, it has to be well cared for due to its health. The owner should be ready to spend much on the vet, because most dogs of this breed are prone to problems with bones and joints, heart disorders, skin allergies and some other disorders. Though exercise needs of these dogs are very low, they need short daily walks to keep fit. Excessive exercise may be dangerous for these dogs, especially in hot weather, so they are not suited as sport companions.

These dogs are very loving, affectionate and intelligent, and purebreds are never aggressive or timid.
